Why is Cambridge the right choice for my child?
Cambridge offers an enriched curriculum that is accelerated beyond traditional classrooms. The Cambridge approach to teaching and learning is a student centered, active learning approach. SAES incorporates hands on learning activities and experiences, project-based learning opportunities as well as inquiry-based learning.
The Cambridge curriculum affords the student the opportunity for enrichment and acceleration that develops skills and understanding in English, Math, Science and Cambridge Global Perspectives. These skills help prepare students for college level coursework to which they will be exposed as they progress into high school.
The ideal Cambridge student is confident, engaged, innovative, reflective and responsible.
- Confident in working with information and ideas- their own and those of others.
- Engaged intellectually and socially, ready to make a difference.
- Innovative and equipped for new and future challenges.
- Reflective as learners, developing their ability to learn.
- Responsible for themselves and be responsible to and respectful of others.
In addition to the above Cambridge attributes, students must possess determination, perseverance, be goal-driven and have a desire to learn and excel.
